73-71 BC : Spartacus' slave revolt Third Servile War. Spartacus started this revolt when he was in the Gladiator Training Facility. He and several slaves broke out of the facility and they started the Third Servile War.
100-44 BC. : Julius Caesar became the dictator of Rome. He adopted his nephew Octavian and taught him everything about being a ruler and political values. When Julius Caesar died in 44 BC his people found his will and it basically said he was handing everything down to his nephew and adopted son, Octavian.
